If you are trying to grow your business, don’t just focus on increasing your traffic. By making your website and your product more usable, you’ll see a growth in your revenue. Also focus on how your website grow up. Focus on visitors behaviour, user spent time on your website etc.

Crazy Egg grew at a much faster pace than KISSmetrics, even though we did a better job marketing KISSmetrics.

Why? Because Crazy Egg was a more usable tool. Customers would email us saying, “I love Crazy Egg. It’s such a powerful yet easy to use tool!” This helped with word of mouth marketing, which significantly spurred the company’s growth.

When it comes to building brand awareness for my company, the method that’s worked best has been content marketing. Although it involves a lot of work, and it takes six months to a year for it to be effective, it’s been proven to provide the biggest bang for the buck.
